We're pretty busy right now with budget stuff just wrapping up -- pretty critical. ...we just had a couple of pieces of good news though. ...the Board of Supervisors voted to keep our county's shelters for the neediest and most frail and our Workforce Education & Training (WET) proposal to the state Department of Mental Health got approved. :) :)
...for anyone not familiar with it -- every county in California is re-designing their mental health system with the help of the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA -- also known as "Prop. 63", a 1% tax on personal income past $1M to bring mh systems up to snuf). WET was one component of 6 of the MHSA -- awesome to be a part of.
